My Family

This is my family.

Birthday & Christmas Treats

I've been totally and completely spoiled this year for my birthday and Christmas. One of the very few good reasons Christmas Eve is a good birthday is because it gives you a really great 48 hours at Christmas time. My family and friends have been amazing. Lucky girl.

Daily Outfit

Gilet - Next
Jeans - Miss Selfridge
Top - New Look
Bag - Topshop

I've been lacking on the blog front the last few weeks. Things have been busy and I've been distracted. However, my sister bought me a birthday present that inspired me to get back on the blogging/lookbook band wagon a little more - wireless remote. A bloggers secret weapon.

It's Christmas in my house

Oh how I love Christmas

My new favourite handbag

My new favourite handbag. Thanks topshop.

Christmas Spirit

When it comes to Christmas, I am it's number 1 fan. Everything Christmas related or themed gets me super excited. I have already started wrapping presents. Brown paper and colourful festive decorations is my favourite way to wrap up the presents I buy for friends and family.  I cannot wait for Christmas, and for Christmas eve - my birthday !

Dinner or breakfast

I would eat Crunchy Nut Cornflakes for every meal if I could.

Graduation Weekend is over

The weekend of Graduating has come to an end but I am happy to be home. I was spoilt and am thankful for all my of presents and cards that were sent to me.

I now have a degree and am a Bachelor of Arts.

Bampton Downton Abbey Exhibition

Bampton (where Downton Abbey is partly filmed) held a small exhibition of a few garments that were worn in the series of the show. It was so amazing to see the garments in real life and read about how they were found and used in the TV series. I adore the fact the pink embroidered dress that is pictured above was picked up in a vintage shop. I loved this dress when it appeared in the show and I would never of thought it would of been from a vintage shop. I love fashion and history, which explains my obsession with Downton Abbey.

Monday, 4 February 2013

My name is Hayley and I am a fashion student at Southampton Solent with only three months to go until it's all over and I become a real adult and get a real job. I intern at Helen and Douglas House a hospice charity in Oxfordshire. I mainly work with their vintage clothes, helping to prepare and sell them through shops, ebay, festivals etc. I've been blogging on tumblr for about four years but I think it's about time I moved on to bigger and better things. My tumblr is full of images I've found floating around on the website and generally on the internet but this blog is going to be a little more personal as I'm keen to start writing more and posting more images taken by me. Welcome to my blog of vintage and contemporary fashion and my life.
