Essential Winter Beauty Products // Blogmas Day Four

Our skin and hair take a beating during the winter months. The cold air dries out our skin and the rain and wind make our hair brittle, which can lead to some quite bad hair days.

It's important to have a good selection of product to keep your skin and hair looking great this season.

Emma Hardie Super Rich Body Butter
This product is ideal to soften the skin, as it's an all over body butter which is super thick and nourishing. The smell is a tad odd in my opinion, Citrus Jasmin and Rose mixed together does make for quite an odd scent but it's doesn't put me off. My fiance told me I smelt like a cup of tea, so how bad can it really be? I don't use this on my face as my face is far more sensitive than anywhere else, I only use it on my legs and arms to keep them soft. I picked up this up for £12.99 in TKMaxx which is my new favourite place for products.

Elizabeth Arden Visible Difference
If you're a reader of my blog or if you watch my YouTube channel you'll know what an obsession I have with Elizabeth Arden Visible Difference cream. It's the best face cream I've ever used, it's gentle, nourishing, soothing and smells fresh. I use it everyday and my face has never been been so hydrated. It's on the pricey side but is available for £15 (down from £45) in Debenhams at the moment. It's definitely worth investing in a face cream so I've come to realise, the results are worth every penny and you really do get what you pay for.

Sanctuary Spa Illuminating Moisture Lotion SPF 15
This is a light texture moisturiser that brings brightness to my dull pale skin. It's an ideal moisturiser for pre-make up. It's making my skin appear brighter, firm and hydrated. Sometimes I do like to use my Elizabeth Arden cream in the morning but this is a nice alternative. I have a travel sized bottle and it's lasting me quite well as you only need a small amount to hydrate your whole face. This product is helping my face get through this cold winter.

Loreal Elvive Extraordinary Oil
I featured this product in my November Favourites on YouTube which you can see here. This oil is freaking amazing for my hair this season with the wind and the rain. It's a non greasy product so as long as you don't use too much - your hair does get greasy if you do. It does say on the bottle that two pumps are to be used but I find that it's too much and does make my hair feel greasy. One pump works best, in my opinion. Throughout this horrid weather this oil has kept my hair so shiny and soft, I am really enjoying this product and the results it gives. Full review on my YouTube channel!

Johnson's Face Care Make Up Wipes (not featured in video due to running out!)
I do have a skincare routine that I adore and that works so well for me, but I would be lying if I told you I do it successfully every night. Sometimes I do the whole routine, sometimes I do half of it and something I just use a good face wipe. Johnson's Face Care sensitive wipes are the nicest make up remover wipes out there. I find many wipes are rough and dry which cause you to press harder on your skin to remove your make up. These wipes are moist and soft so removing make up is super easy. They don't leave your skin sore and dry, they leave your skin feeling like moisture has been put back in instead of removed.
